Our standards
How we make our guides.
Our editorial policy explains what we verify, how commercial relationships are handled, and what readers can expect from Living Statement content.

Research and sourcing
We use primary sources where practical: product manuals, manufacturer specifications, recognized technical programs, and institutional guidance. We link readers to material sources so they can check important details themselves. Design suggestions are described as guidance rather than universal requirements.
Product reviews and hands-on tests
Each product review will state its evidence basis. A hands-on format may be drafted for staff use, but the review will not say a product was physically tested until the team has completed and recorded the relevant checks. Before publication, product model, SKU, regional version, listed price, availability, claims, and links must be checked against current sources. If an item has not been hands-on tested, that limitation will be clear.
Affiliate relationships
Some partner links may earn a commission if a reader purchases or signs up. That relationship does not establish that a product is the best choice. We use offers only when relevant to the page and disclose paid relationships close to the offer, as well as on our affiliate disclosure page.
Corrections and updates
Pages show when they were last meaningfully updated. We review factual details that can change, including offers, prices, specifications, and availability. Readers can use our contact page to flag an error or request a correction.
Authorship
Living Statement contributors are real members of the publisher's team. Author biographies and images are published only after the contributor reviews and approves them. Author roles describe their assignment for this publication; they do not imply specialist credentials that have not been established.
